The owner of a puppy who is blind is requesting that a veterinarian euthanize the animal, but the veterinarian is refusing to do so.

Aster Rose’s owner requested that she be euthanized solely because she was deaf and blind. Luckily, the veterinarian understood just how wonderful her life could be with proper care.

Aster Rose is a puppy who was discovered to have both visual and auditory impairments.

Upon learning of her unfortunate condition, her owners requested that the vet put her to sleep.

Thankfully, the veterinarian refused, and nothing at the time could sway their decision.

The vet is well aware that dogs who are unable to see and hear are still capable of living a fulfilling life.

The dog wasn’t going to be relocated, so the veterinarian decided to take her in and search for a rescue organization that could accommodate both her and her sister.

Krysten discovered Aster’s picture and felt an instant connection to her, deciding to adopt her.

Fortunately, everything fell into place and Krysten was able to bring Aster home.

Clearly, Krysten has experience caring for dogs with unique requirements.

Little Buddy is the first dog that she has ever had.

“I’ve been caring for Little Buddy for more than three years now. He was identified as both blind and deaf,” she revealed. “We do not have much information regarding his initial 10 months of existence. The person who owned him took him to a rescue organization and said, ‘My girlfriend dislikes my dog and says I can no longer keep him.'”

In this way, the unfortunate canine was left behind.

It’s really sad to even think about it.

It took 2.5 years for Little Buddy to be adopted.

Little Buddy is an endearing Australian Shepherd.

Under Krysten’s attentive care, he is now in excellent health and living his best life.

Despite his blindness, Little Buddy has not allowed it to impede his ability to live life to the fullest.

He thoroughly enjoys going on adventures and is always eager to take some time out to run and play.

Little Buddy shares his home with two cats.

The cats, Teddy and Goose, were originally taken in as foster pets, but Krysten ended up keeping them permanently.

After they were abandoned, Krysten decided to become their foster parent.

However, to her surprise, Little Buddy thoroughly enjoyed having them around.

“When I adopted Aster, I knew Teddy would be okay with her, but I thought they would simply coexist,” she reminisced. “But when she was young, he would approach her to cuddle.”

Teddy has developed a fondness for Aster.

For some inexplicable reason, Teddy became Aster’s go-to snuggle buddy, and now the two of them are practically inseparable.

Similarly, Goose has also developed a strong bond with Little Buddy.

It’s almost as if they all found their perfect companions in one another.

For any pet owner, that’s probably the most amazing feeling in the world.

The dogs share a unique and special bond.

“Eventually, Aster and Little Buddy formed an incredible bond within this loving family,” the caption read.

According to Krysten, they are truly siblings.

“Little Buddy doesn’t really know how to play with other dogs. He never had that experience growing up, but Aster never gave up on him. She persists in trying to play with him,” she shared.

And now, the bond they share is unbreakable.

Their love brings so much joy into Krysten’s home each day.

Without a doubt, dogs with special needs are able to live a beautiful life in the company of such caring individuals as Krysten.
