Sidewalk Specials received an urgent call about a stray mother dog and her puppy in a field. While searching for a suitable spot to nurse her pup, she became trapped under a log, and a bulldozer was currently operating in the area. The dog required immediate assistance.
Upon arrival, the rescuers attempted to aid the dog, but she was initially suspicious of their intentions. As she was fiercely protective of her offspring, she even snapped at them. However, despite the dog’s behavior, the team was successful in freeing her. They vowed to find the puppy a permanent residence with a caring family, and they kept their word! Additionally, they provided medical attention for the mother dog and had her spayed before reuniting her with her owner and acquaintances. “Thank you for assisting us without criticism!” 🙂
