The injured puppy lay still on the street when the rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited arrived. They observed the bite marks on his neck and lifted him with care. He was in critical condition and required prompt assistance, so they rushed him to the animal hospital.
Here they would do everything possible to rescue the puppy. They initiated with pain medication and fluid intravenous injection, followed by cleaning the puncture wounds to get him on the path to recovery. The dog was too tired and could not stand on its own, and the next day its entire head had swelled. He needed assistance to eat, but he began taking some unsteady steps on his own soon! And you wouldn’t believe what Ray is doing today. 🙂
