A bear cub wandered onto a family’s farm and approached their dog. Instead of barking, the dog hugged the cub. The family intended to keep the cub as a pet, but Slovenian officials took the bear away to a sanctuary in Croatia. The bear will be trained to live in the wild and eventually return to Slovenia. Ms. Stadler assured that the bear will be under the care of the top experts.
