Did you know that young wild animals require their mother’s care in order to survive in the wild?
They rely on their mothers much more than any of us do. They roam around in search of their mothers and forage for food.
Their survival is a constant battle. Some are able to wait for assistance, while others cannot.
In this story, Cisna, a two-month-old bear cub who was orphaned, is fortunate. The poor little creature was discovered in the Bieszczady mountains by a man who notified a nearby forest ranger station. At the time, she was almost starved and could barely stand on her paws.
After being unable to locate the mother bear, the kind-hearted man called “State Forests” for help. Staff members from the organization arrived and took the helpless young bear with them. She was then transported to the Przemysl Rehabilitation Center for Protected Animals, where she received specialized care and medical assessments.
Dr. Andrzej Fedaczynski, his son Radoslaw Fedaczynski, and another physician named Jakub Kotwicz were responsible for providing excellent care for the helpless little creature.
Due to their previous experience with helping animals, they put in a great deal of effort to ensure the cub’s survival. Fortunately, she began to eat and gain strength.
Dr. Radosław had developed a close bond with the adorable little cub during her time in their care. When the bear cub was relocated to Poznan, he became emotional and cried like a baby. He was saddened by the thought of wild animals like Cisna being sent to a zoo.
