Lil’ Bill is not an exception when it comes to love. He is a unique calf, unlikely to have another like him. His small size inspired the name. In reality, Lil’ Bill is the smallest cow ever known to exist!
“We encounter some cases that leave us puzzled, and Lil’ Bill is one such case! He was born weighing only a fraction of what newborn calves typically weigh,” said the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where Lil’ Bill was taken for a checkup, according to their Facebook post.
The internet is filled with images of Lil’ Bill that people are sharing. It’s easy to see why people are enchanted by this little guy. He weighs the same as an average house cat.
Lil’ Bill was taken to the Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine by his owners to ensure that he was healthy, given his small size. After conducting various tests, the veterinarians there confirmed that Lil’ Bill was in excellent health. Despite his small stature, there is no reason for his owners to be concerned.
Though the reason behind Lil’ Bill’s tiny size is still unknown, specialists at Mississippi State University are still searching for an answer.
