YouTubers The girlfriend of Billy LeBlanc died at age 41 after getting a virus from eating raw oysters.
After eating seafood for dinner, both LeBlanc and his girlfriend Natalie Clark got a virus called Vibrio vulnificus.
LeBlanc was very sick and needed to spend several days in the Intensive Care Unit with his girlfriend.
According to LeBlanc on Instagram, he woke up to find that his girlfriend had died after being in the hospital for twelve days, eight of those days in the intensive care unit (ICU) fighting for their lives.
LeBlanc wrote in a post, “We ate oysters and felt sick for a couple days. The next morning I woke up and she was gone.”
The content creator talked about the happy times the couple had together in a different post that showed them traveling together.
It will always be a memory of how we got lost together. I’ll miss and love her forever.
“Be safe and hold your loved ones tight, you never know when it’ll be the last time you see them.”
LeBlanc’s mother wrote a touching Facebook post about her son’s late girlfriend.
Natalie died, and Billy was just eight days away from dying in the intensive care unit. “Please keep praying for Natalie’s son Julian, her family, and Billy, for his heart and health,” she wrote.
The CDC said that eating raw seafood causes about 80,000 cases of Vibrio vulnificus each year.
Within one to two days of getting sick, people who get the virus can die.
Clark has to leave her son Julian, who is 17.
She shared a picture of herself and her son on Mother’s Day in early May, writing, “Thank you, son, for the best date ever! Your presence has made my life better.
LeBlanc’s girlfriend died in a tragic accident nine years after the star lost his 13-year-old son Caleb.
He had three kids with Katie, his ex-wife, including Caleb.
In 2015, the influential person’s son died suddenly of a heart attack.
Katie has a family history of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which meant that Caleb had regular health checks. However, the teenager wasn’t responding and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
LeBlanc learned how to be famous on YouTube by posting videos of his ex-wife and their three kids, Annie, Hayley, and Caleb.
The couple took a short break from making content after Caleb’s death and came back to the platform in 2019.
Sadly, the return was short-lived because they later got divorced next year.
After LeBlanc started his own channel, he continued to post videos about his life. In 2020, he started including Clark in his videos.
